Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 29, 2026
Complete Security Rental ("we," "our," or "us"), a division of VBTronics, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you visit our website (completesecurityrental.com) or interact with our services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you fill out our contact form, request a quote, call, email, or enter into a rental agreement with us, we collect:
- Name
- Company name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Site address or project location
- Project type, timeline, and other details you choose to share
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we and our analytics/advertising partners automatically collect:
- IP address (anonymized in Google Analytics; stored in full server-side for fraud prevention and audit purposes — see §3 retention policy)
- Browser type and version, operating system, device type
- Pages visited, time on page, referrer URL, scroll depth, and on-page interactions (clicks, form interactions)
- UTM campaign parameters, Google Click ID (gclid), and Facebook Click ID (fbclid) if present in the URL
- Approximate geographic location (country / region) derived from IP, via Cloudflare
- Session recordings (mouse movements, clicks, scroll behavior — keystrokes are masked) via Microsoft Clarity
2. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking Technologies
2.1 Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (property G-0EM3P6ZLRB) with IP anonymization enabled to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 sets cookies that record session data, page views, and conversion events (form submissions, phone clicks, calculator interactions). You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
2.2 Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymous session replays and produce heatmaps that show how visitors interact with the site. Clarity automatically masks sensitive form fields (passwords, payment details) and keystrokes. We use this data only for usability improvement and never sell or share it with third parties for advertising. Microsoft's Clarity privacy practices are described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
2.3 Meta (Facebook) Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and build retargeting audiences on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). The Pixel collects events such as page views, content views, and lead submissions, plus a hashed identifier that Meta uses to match site visitors to Meta accounts. For California residents, we automatically apply Meta's Limited Data Use flag to restrict how Meta may use this data. You can manage Meta ad preferences through your Facebook ad settings.
2.4 Cloudflare
Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare's CDN, security, and analytics services. Cloudflare may collect IP address, request headers, and request metadata to serve content, mitigate abuse, and provide aggregate analytics. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
2.5 Cookies
The categories of cookies in use are:
- Strictly necessary — site functionality, A/B test variant assignment (cookie name:
csr_variant), session continuity. Cannot be disabled without breaking the site. - Analytics — Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity. Used to understand site usage and improve UX.
- Advertising / measurement — Meta Pixel. Used to measure ad effectiveness and build retargeting audiences.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect the functionality of the contact form but will limit our ability to measure and improve the site.
3. How We Use and Store Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes
- Process and fulfill rental agreements
- Communicate about your service, including operational notices
- Send relevant information about our services if you've opted in
- Measure and improve our website and marketing
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
3.1 Server-Side Lead Storage
When you submit our contact form, we store your submission server-side in a Cloudflare D1 database. The record includes the form fields you provided, plus the timestamp, IP address, country, user agent, referrer URL, and any UTM/campaign parameters present at the time of submission. This is used to (a) ensure your submission is not lost if email delivery fails, (b) audit and improve the form, and (c) measure marketing-channel effectiveness.
3.2 Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by law:
- Contact-form submissions: 24 months from last contact, then deleted unless an active rental agreement requires retention.
- Active customer / rental records: duration of the rental + 7 years (consistent with standard business and tax recordkeeping).
- Analytics data: per Google Analytics retention setting (currently 14 months) and Microsoft Clarity's default (90 days for session recordings).
- Marketing email opt-outs: retained indefinitely as required to honor your opt-out request.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf — analytics (Google, Microsoft), advertising measurement (Meta), hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery, customer support, and payment processing. These providers are contractually limited to using the data only to perform services for us.
- Our parent company VBTronics, where coordination is needed to fulfill a rental, transition a project to permanent installation, or provide warranty/support.
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, insurers) when reasonably necessary.
- Law enforcement or government authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our or others' rights, property, or safety.
- Successor entities in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
5. Your Rights — California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to know — what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and (if applicable) sell or share.
- Right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for monetary value, but our use of the Meta Pixel may be considered "sharing" under California law. To opt out, email info@CompleteSecurityRental.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Information." You may also click Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information at any time.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service or charge a different price because you exercised these rights.
For California residents, we automatically apply Meta's Limited Data Use flag to restrict the Pixel's data use. To submit a verifiable consumer request, email info@CompleteSecurityRental.com; we will respond within 45 days and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
6. Other Rights
Regardless of where you reside, you may:
- Request access to or correction of your personal information.
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal/contractual retention).
- Opt out of marketing communications by replying "unsubscribe" or clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies or use the opt-out tools described in Section 2.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards — including TLS encryption in transit, access controls on our database and email, and an anti-bot honeypot on our contact form — to protect your personal information. No transmission or storage method is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Visitors
Our services are operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
